The best way to wind down is by staking a claim wherever your comfortable and hanging out a 'Do Not Disturb' sign. 2. Although technological advancements are a wonderful thing, right now the oldest methods are the best for what you are trying to achieve. Frustration creeps in when you try to do anything too new, so try to stick with the tried and true way of doing things as much as possible. Large-scale projects will undoubtedly have to incorporate a degree of modern-day technology, but in your personal, day-to-day affairs, strive to keep things as simple, uncomplicated and as 'old-fashioned' as possible. 3. Of course you have opinions. Who wouldn't want a say in how his or her relationship is unfolding? Just remember that this is a collaboration, not a competition. If you couldn't make it work for you, you wouldn't even be here. 4. You're fortunate to have a down-to earth-family. Also, you've attracted friends with whom you can have conversations about a wide range of subjects and who understand that a rewarding life is about more than money. Christmas Presents: I haven't gone Christmas shopping AT ALL yet. Hell, I don't even know what I'm getting anyone yet nor do I know who I'm buying things for. Oiii. Maybe Cathy will want to go to Chicago Ridge next weekend. :) Nick went shopping today. He said he bought me something. I need to rummage around his room soon to find out what it is. mwuahahahahaa Happy Birthday: Happy Birthday to Chris of Down In Front. Isn't he yummy? ![]() Sunday, November 23, 2003 ( 11/23/2003 09:14:00 PM ) Lisa Horoscopes: 1. There is sexy energy on the social front, and dangerous liaisons could be sparked. You will be asked to lend something, and it would be wise to say "no." A family obligation is clarified with a conversation. 2. Small events are much more upsetting than usual. Even the slightest negative comment or event has the ability to set you off on an angry rampage or an emotional roller coaster. Try to get in touch with what's really causing you to feel this way, because then and only then will you be able to even out your behavior. Other people's actions may have something to do with why you're feeling so down, but the key to improving your mood lies within yourself. Nate and I: My parents had a wedding last night and Nick was out with Becky, so Christina, Gabriella and myself were left home alone. Nate came over around 5:40 PM and messed up my room. :( He looked through ALL of my drawers and my closet and threw things around. I kept calling him a child. Then we went outside because he Thursday, November 13, 2003 ( 11/13/2003 05:22:00 PM ) Lisa I've been so lazy with my journals. I guess I just haven't been in the "writing mood" lately. 'Twas an odd week of school this week. I didn't have school Tuesday or Thursday and Angela and I aren't going to school tomorrow. Fun times. Ummm...I'm not going out with Nate and we shall hang out tomorrow at his friend Nick's house. Good times. Saturday, the family gets to meet Nick's girlfriend, Becky. That means lots of cleaning will be done. blah! My Aunt Ro had her baby on Tuesday. 'Twas a boy and his name his Nicholas. I dislike that name. Report card pickups were tonight. No one went for me. Whooops. Nick said he wasn't going to go and I never told my parents. hehe. Oh, well. Now I won't know how Sunday, November 09, 2003 ( 11/09/2003 12:30:00 AM ) Lisa I woke up at 1 PM today and Nick was out with his new girlfriend, Becky. Well, it's 12:30 AM right now and he still isn't home. We've called his cell countless times and my parents are all freaking out and I'm trying not to think bad happened to him. We don't have Becky's number or last name. So (the genius I am) looked at Nick's journal which had a link to Becky's journal, which gave her last name, which I looked up in AOL's White Pages. So when I found that, I called his cell one more time and he FINALLY picked up and I start yelling at him (so much for me trying to stay calm) and then I gave the phone to my mom and my dad picked up the other one and just starts yelling at him. Blah. I'm gonna yell at him and beat him up when he gets home. I don't care what time it is. :( # Saturday, November 01, 2003 ( 11/01/2003 08:29:00 PM ) Lisa My Halloween: School, Debate, running to Joanna's house to avoid getting bombed with shaving cream and/or eggs, watching TV, -naughty thing- sitting in a square with Sandy, Joanna, and Kathryn, going to McDonalds (I didn't get anything) with Sandy, getting dropped off at home, eating a filet o' fish from Burger King, checked some e-mails, went to bed.
