When the Sky Begins to Fall...

Mood(s): Sore. Tired. Hungry.
Sound(s): Millencolin - "Man Or Mouse"
Horoscopes: 1. It's okay to ask your new friend for assistance if necessary -- you shouldn't feel like you have to present a perfect face at all times at this stage. In fact, a little vulnerability may help things along.
2. What do you want to get on today? Your groove? Your swerve? Your own personal idiom of insanely advanced achievement? Or maybe you just want to get on a hot date this weekend. Whatever you want, you can make it happen.

Tumble Down The Stairs: Last night (Thursday), 'someone' knocked me down the stairs and I hurt my leg. I couldn't walk and when I went to sleep, I woke up almost every hour because I couldn't bend it, but I also couldn't keep it straight because it hurt too much. Luckily, I got out of school at 9:04 today (half day, plus I was signed out for my last 3 classes, so I just went home). I called my mommy and told her my knee was hurting me a lot (my ankle's a little better) and she made a doctor appointment for me. So Nick and I wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes, then I had to wait another 30 in the room, which pissed me off because I heard the stupid doctors in the hallway talking about medical school, old roommates, and who's pop can was whose. WTP!? The doctor just moved my leg around a lot (which hurt) and kept pressing it (which hurt) and asked if it hurt (duh! That's why I was there!) He would straighten it then bend it three times really fast and it hurt sooo much. He's like, "Well, I don't think it's anything serious, so we'll just wrap it up and give you some medicine to take." My mom could've done this all at home for me, I don't know why she made an appointment if all he was going to do was hurt me more. My mommy's a nurse and she wouldn't have hurt me. :( If my knee is still bothering me by Tuesday/Wednesday, I have to go in for x-rays, which should've been done today. Such a waste, right? He's like, "It shouldn't hurt anymore by Tuesday." Right, because going up and down 4 flights of stairs for school won't make it worse at all. ::cough::

RECOMMEND LOTS OF BOOKS, PLEASE! I have to stay off my knee for like a month and I'm running out of books to read. The more the happier this little Lisa ::points to self:: will be. :)

Today's Kurt Cobain's 37th birthday. I want his book.

Horoscopes: 1. It may be time for some outside advice regarding your crush; your usual blunt honesty doesn't seem to be getting the point across properly. As a bonus, a friend who's been feeling neglected will perk up.
2. Slow down and look around -- you've got people watching you close today. Nothing to freak out about, but you'll need to play it cool if you want to keep up your reputation.

Wednesday: night, I went to Kathryn's house (friend, FUNNY, 17). Her and Carly (16, don't really talk to her) were a little drunk and Sam (16, friend) was on the computer, like always. We ate some pizza and they made fun of me because I was eating in front of people. It took me like 15 minutes to eat a slice. haha. Jen (friend, 18, funny) called to see if I wanted to get my nipples pierced, but I was short $15 and didn't want to be rude and leave Kathryn, you know? Anyway, then Carly wanted to watch The Mole so we went up to Kathryn's room where her and Sam wrapped me up in 3 rolls of toilet paper. I have pictures...now if only I or someone I knew had a scanner. :( Then Sam wanted to go to McDonalds so I walked with her, but we ended up going to 7-11 where she bought a slurpee and ice cream then complained about being cold. Idiot. Jonathan (Sam's boyfriend, 17) picked Sam up and they left, so me, Kathryn, and Carly talked about Sam. Nate (17 ex, friend) called, so I let Kathryn answer it because she likes talking to him, but he thinks she's crazy. Carly's daddy drove me home. I talked to him in sign language (both her parents are deaf). 'Twas fun. #

Horoscopes:1. You're ready to take a risk -- you have little to lose and your happiness to gain. Don't do what you think you should do instead of what you love. Let nothing pull you off track from what you are genuinely attracted to.
2. You've got the energy to move on, so stop holding yourself back. If something's bothering you, share it with someone or just let it go. Bring homemade treats to the object of your affections for an ego boost.
3. Don't lose yourself in the fridge today. Sweets are only going to make you feel better for the short term. Your problems are still going to be there, even after you come down from your sugar high.

Old Friends: Yesterday, I talked to Victor (friend, used to like each other, 17, Mexican). I haven't talked to him in MONTHS. We caught up on things and he said he has to go to night school for English and he'll be going to my school for it. So I might actually see him once in a while (since I'm there till 4:00 for Debate). So that's awesomeness! I told him he's going to be my valentine, even though I hate that crap. :)
Tom (friend, Indian, 19) called me the other day. I haven't heard from him since April (or something like that). He's such a cutie! I love that kid. I want to hang out with him soon, but it's all snowy and poopy outside and we'd have nothing to do. :'(
Bijan (friend, 20, Swedish/Egyptian) IMed me the other day. I haven't talked to him in a while, either. I guess we're going to try and be friends again (there was a lot of BS and drama with him). So we'll see how that goes. :)

Report Card: Well, I didn't fail any classes!!!!! I'm soo happy about that because I've been slacking MAJORLY school-wise. I still have to make up that half a credit from French 1 from last year, though. So I'm going to have to find out if there's summer school for that because I don't feel like taking that as a class next year and then taking another class at night because I'm lazy. :)

How's the layout? #
